He is the beloved author of the greatest motivational book of all time “Think and Grow Rich”. Having born into a poor family, Napoleon Hill has managed to claim success by taking a very critical look at the lives of the rich and famous. It is his belief that the so-called successful people has one quality which they possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.

 Napoleon Hill was born in Wise County, Virginia. His mother died when he was 10 years old and resented the fact that his father remarried. He may be rebellious while he was still young but he turned his life around and made is a success. His writing career started when he was 13 years old and working as “mountain reporter” for a local newspaper. His work as a journalist has paid his law school and became advisor to the steel-magnate Andrew Carnegie and with his help formulated the philosophy of success drawing on the thoughts and experiences of self-made millionaires and tycoons.

He spent 20 years developing his book “Think and Grow Rich” which is now regarded as the best-selling book of all time on personal success and achievement. He died on November 1970 but his legacy still lives in the heart of the people who has taken his teaching by heart.
